GEOPHYSICAL RESEARCH FOR WATER SUPPLY IN THE TOWN OF CALCATA

The geophysical research was performed by an electrical tomography with 48 electrodes and overall length 310 m in order to identify a suitable area to drill a new well for drinking water (fig. 1). Because of the survey results was drilled the new municipal well able to serve the population with an operating flow well of 4-5 l/s (fig. 2-3)
